Pecan Oil is used for aromatherapy purposes and in massage oils as well. A variety of cosmetics have pecan oil in it for the skin, including sunless tanning products.

Carrier oils, sometimes referred to as vegetable oils and base oils, have extensive usage in Aromatherapy because they are used to dilute Essential Oils for application. They are also used in the manufacturing of soaps and cosmetics, as well as for massage by Licensed Massage Therapists.

Absorbs quickly, and leaves a non-greasy feeling ~ It is not recommended if you are allergic to nuts. For external use only.

All carrier oils should be kept cool, and away from strong light, to retard rancidification. You can expect a shelf life of 6 months to 1 year with proper storage
